Update

I have nothing especially interesting to say, which is why I've been absent.

  • My body hasn't been up to par running-wise since the marathon. I'm pissed, but trying to deal with it by taking it easy and doing more stuff like yoga. I started bikram again and it feels great!

  • I signed up for a half at the end of January so hope to be ready in time for that.

  • My friend JEN rocked IMAZ on Sunday and I couldn't be prouder.

  • I am really excited for the holidays, traveling to see family, spending it in my new house.

  • I have been married for two months!

  • I registered for Boston in time so am definitely doing that in April. I will be getting another niece in Boston soon so going out to visit the new person in February...my sister lives on heartbreak hill, so I'll be testing out the goods there. Fun.

  • I went on my honeymoon in Hawaii, it was great

  • I'm trying to learn how to compost but right now I basically just have a pile of moldy mush (any tips?)

  • I had a brief love affair last week with Robert Pattinson after receiving my December issue of Vanity Fair. Damn you, vampires!

Glad you're enjoying your new house and married life and composting. All equally exciting, IMO. I like the new look, too. And yay Boston! You are going to love that race. Am eager to follow your training. Are you thinking of any tris for next season?

compost tips - make sure you have a mix of 2/3 lawn refuse (grass clippings, leaves, garden leftovers) to 1/3 food scraps. Turn about every 2 - 3 weeks. In a few months, you should have really nice dirt!

I went to Kurt the masseuse today because my body has also been sucking running-wise & he said that my body didn't seem 7 weeks recovered - more like 1 week. :(

Hope I can see you again one of these days! I will send your photo CD through Alisa since she'll see you next weekend.

(PS - have you seen the cover of the new Rolling Stone?)

Yay Boston!

I haven't a clue how to compost or do anything remotely garden-y.

Yay JEN!

When you get back from your trip we should do drinks or something soon. I still have my hair appt if you wanna join me in a beautification afternoon.

You've done SO much recently - just enjoy the house and Christmas and all that good stuff and running will come back to you. It's taken me a while..

As for compost - according to the BBC gardening program you need a pee bale. Indeed! Just what you need during the festive season http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/cambridgeshire/8357134.stm
